Quick discussion about marriage and monogamy

Next, I want to say. When the Christian church arrived on the scene, a lot of free-women were kind of living in a half prostitute situation. They were prostitutes, but I think maybe not always brothel prostitutes. It wasn't nice. Also a lot relied on their Johns to keep them safe. And many became destitute once ugly. Children had prostitutes for mothers and no fathers. Mothers then died and orphans were plentiful and trafficking was rife. And poverty was horrible, at the lower end of the scale. It was bad. Christianity and the church changed things. They showed up and invited so many people in. The offered people the chance to turn away from their old lives and become new again. And to get food and safety from trafficking. And there is another issue, which is that the system of law required advocates and usually a male patriarch was helpful! By that I mean it literally useful to have an adult man to represent you in court. And not every widow, former prostitute or orphan child (in...

Jo Dacombe

Just an email chain with Jo Dacombe, formerly married to Lloyd Dacombe. Who was an elder in the church. Jo was a deacon. I might actually put up a page specifically for Jo. Saturday 7/3/2009 Hi Joanne I realised that I'd probably be a little bit late to get into the newsletter. Thanks for referring me to the the prayer group. I'll send them an email soon. It's wonderful to hear that your MS was healed! I'm hoping and praying for something similar for me. Thanks, David Solt Date: Fri, 6 Mar 2009 23:12:54 +1300 From: dacombe@paradise.net.nz Subject: RE: Prayer requests in church newsletters To: davidsolt@hotmail.com Dear David   It’s been a busy week and I actually did the newsletter early this week.  I will put in your prayer request next week though.     Will be thinking of you and Amanda.  Must have been very difficult juggling varsity and CFS – I can sort of relate as I used to have MS.  I had the elders of the church pray over me and I haven’t had ...

I’m not having sex until I am healthy

I'm not having sex until I'm thoroughly healthy. And have been thoroughly healthy for 90 days. When will we know that this has happened? The answer is that I'll be the judge of that.

Underfloor cans in between joists

Image
Stick some boxes of crushed cans beneath the floors, like they’re insulation. Maybe do small/medium rectangular plastic or cardboard boxes. And either glue them in, or use some sort of “friction” fitting system. I’m not sure how. Maybe the boxes are 400 by 600 mm. And 100-120 mm thick. Get them in there however it works. If this works well, maybe your whole home is sorted? But maybe you need some cupboards around the place or just some flat ish plastic boxes of cans in the ceiling.

Reverse social engineering: make democracy democratic again!

Revsoceng Make democracy democratic again! Take democracies that have stopped being democratic because of interference and manipulation by corporations, banks, media institutions and universities, big tech and super rich people, and the CCP, and make them democratic again! That is what I means when I said that I want to "destroy the system". I wanted to destroy the system of corporate interference, manipulation and control that ruins democracy. The end goal are democracies where the actual people hold sway. * It's not psychopath stuff to want to "destroy the system" when what you mean is to destroy the system of corporate control that prevents democracy from being democratic! It's not psychopath stuff to want to "destroy the system" when what you mean is to destroy the system of corporate control that prevents democracy from being democratic! *** It's not psychopath stuff to want to make democracy democratic again! Organised Crime

Crimes Act 1961 98A, 98D, 98D Read it here: https://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1961/43/en/latest/#DLM328728 Human trafficking: You need a crime? Forcing good and honest men to have unwanted sexual intercourse with NZ bisexual harlots and trafficked prostituted Chinese women. Not all New Zealanders want to sleep with your Chinese imports!! That's 20 years in jail and a half a million dollar fine each one. And maybe 300000 victims in New Zealand amongst men. That makes it 150 billion in fines. All Chinese people following the orders of the CCP and nz "scientific" socialists are jointly and severally liable for these crimes. We may also be able to do civil liability stuff as well, against this organised crime group. Yes, it's crime. And yes, it's organised. **** **** You need evidence? Just ask men once the satellites are down. Simple testimony. Victim statements. **** **** Aside from the general population. There's me. And it's the right label/crime...

Garbage delete this page not even notes just stream of consciousness

I’m not standing by any of this, because too tired. Haven’t written it properly.  Next, poverty and charity. I wonder what life would be like in New Zealand if we decided that we had enough. Not everyone, but so many of us. What if we said [living standards] were enough. And then started thinking about charitable giving to other nations and peoples, either in cash or in kind. And becoming debt free as a nation. Now of course we have to deal with the satellite and cell tower nonsense first. But after that what if we did a Dave Ramsey inspired style thing and started giving charitably to other nations to help them to develop economically. And also paid down our debts. And some of the giving was private, some by charities, and some by the government. Sometimes paying down our debts as individuals and families, and sometimes as the government. Because I kind of think that our living standards are okay. And they have been for decades. Or were, pre 2020. Not for literally everyone. Now s...

Exercise and Fitness

It isn't finished, but it'll do. No one has to do this!! It’s just to make you think and give you good ideas!! It’s not really closely related to the politics thing. It’s totally disconnected. **** **** A rudimentary approach to moderate fitness and exercise This is a rudimentary approach to moderate fitness and exercise. I'm not sure exactly who the target demographic is. But the idea is that it contains ideas for moderate exercise and moderate physical activity in appropriate quantities. Please note, it doesn't have to be a life long approach. Because life has seasons. Sometimes you're training and practising hard, sometimes you're not. Sometimes you're trying to develop new skills. Sometimes you're just trying to stay fit and healthy. And sometimes you're trying to rebuild after a surgery, illness or injury. It’s about basics, moderation* and fundamentals. And “right sizing” your investment in exercising and fitness. This is just one approach to f...

Martial Arts

It’s still a draft, but I think that is just about ready. No one has to do this. It’s not compulsory. It’s not really closely related to the politics thing. It’s totally disconnected. Martial Arts Advice: If someone asked me, "How do I get into martial arts?" Or, "How do I learn and practice self defense?" Or, "How do I learn to fight so that if I have to fight or otherwise choose to fight I am more likely to win?" Then I would tell them to do Judo. I would tell them to do Judo because I think that judo is the best thing that you can learn and practise. It's the best approach to training in my opinion. But I would tell them some other things along the way... **** **** Do judo, but also do a little bit of Muay Thai. Go to judo classes for 6-12 months. And then once you have done that, go to some Muay Thai classes for 3-6 months. That's your introduction right there. You will learn a lot. * Additionally, I would suggest to people that they learn to p...
