If they have a shielded dome to meet in, then why shouldn’t we?

Why shouldn’t we have homes, hotels, houses and even cafes, bars and restaurants to meet in that are shielded? Why shouldn’t people have religious or cultural venues that are shielded (such as synagogues, churches and mosques)? Why shouldn’t the Governments of nation-states have aluminium shielded meeting locations, like parliaments, to meet in? Or why shouldn’t political parties have them to meet in?
