910 mm by 410 mm for the workshop shelves. And then 800 mm by 1800 mm for the cupboards, with shelves. I don’t know why I used both.








 











I am planning to test this sort of thing out for myself. And then I hope to put a small chair in this space measuring 900 mm by 800 mm. And I’ll see if I’m sheltered.


If it works, maybe I’ll try to shelter my bed first.

But before I can do that, I need to buy some cans and get them delivered!

I’m not sure if the workshop shelves or cupboards are better. But I prefer the workshop shelves. This example has two of each. If you look closely, the shelves and cupboards are slightly different widths.

Put some boxes of cans on top of the shelves.

It is not guaranteed to work.

Use case: put it in your spare room, or perhaps in a large walk in wardrobe, or in a garage. You can read, talk, go on your phone or laptop, talk on a phone connected by copper network privately, write letters, or just rest.

Misc Use case: parliament. Individual offices of MPs and staff.

Misc use case:

Empty nest boomers, all over the world, with a spare room. They just put some shelves full of cans in their spare room. And have a space to sit. It’s affordable and easy.

New updates: the best of these is the “a new and improved faraday barn” (garage). The second best is one labeled “public park”. Easy idea: A new and improved faraday barn (garage) Something like this^ I think it’s the best and smartest option. It’s possibly the best one yet. It’s enough for a single person to live, and it’s all self contained, or can be. If you need more space, just build two garages. Or build a row of eight garages. And if you need more space, just build two rows of eight! Or four rows of eight! Just keep on building! By the way, if you have a block of them. Like 32 of them in rows, then the spaces in between probably are safe to walk around in to socialise. I reckon. Or I would guess. You take the “nook” and finish it with walls, floors and a ceiling. And install a toilet, shower, basin, washing machine and kitchen sink. Sports + martial arts page

Sports and Martial Arts I keep on getting questions about sports and martial arts. So I thought I’d make a page just to get it out of the way. I did some judo, Muay Thai and boxing when I was young. I also played a bit of soccer, table tennis and hockey. I started doing bodyweight exercises and also lifting weights in my teens. I was a good student when I was young. I got good marks and was a fanatical reader. I was very much interested in intellectual and cerebral pursuits, and things that involved the mind (such as computer games). I prided myself on my intellectual abilities and I had an excellent mind. But I also played some sports, and engaged in a number of different physical pursuits.
